The CRYOPRO
Tempering Process

We utilize a 2 step proprietary process. The complete process involves cooling the object down to -300 F very slowly, in fact we can Cryo glass light bulbs without shattering them and it doubles the life of the bulbs.

The first step takes about 2 days. During the Cryo process, a transformation in the metal takes place that transforms soft carbon (retained austenite) into smaller and stronger carbon (martensite). After the cryogenic step, most metal objects are then subjected to a specific heating and cooling sequence to allow metal to stabilize it's new chemical composition. Our system is a dry process, your object never is submersed in liquid Nitrogen. After the Cryopro TM Process is completed, the material is less brittle, stronger and much more durable than before.
